Answer
OverDrive is the name of a company that provides a website and borrowing service for some downloadable audiobooks and ebooks licensed by the library.
Libby is the name of an app for using the OverDrive collection on compatible mobile devices. It allows you to checkout and read or listen to the media formats that are compatible with that app. Currently, a handful of OverDrive titles are not compatible with Libby and therefore won't show up within the app.
When you go to our OverDrive partner website you see our entire OverDrive collection. But the OverDrive website will not show you everything we have through other e-media partners such as O'Reilly, Kanopy, Hoopla, Flipster, and LinkedIn Learning. Each partner has only a part of our online collection. Many of these collections are included in results when you search the catalog. (The Kanopy titles are not included in the catalog.)
