Q. Can I use the Knoxville News Sentinel digital newspaper?

I don't have a library card with this library but I need to search the historical Knoxville News Sentinel.

Answer

Under our license with NewsBank—the provider of the digital Knoxville News Sentinel—only regional residents or walk-in patrons may use the resource, and librarians may provide copies to only those users.

However, if you're too remote for a visit, you may make your request through your local library's interlibrary loan service. If your library does not typically offer interlibrary loan borrowing, refer the librarian to call our interlibrary loan office at ill@knoxlib.org or 865-215-8746.

We can look for the article you need if we have enough information for a good search. This is a great time to be wordy; share all relevant details about what you're looking for and that will aid in locating the article.
