Many packages contain more than one of these formats, such as DVD/Blu-ray combos and Blu-ray/4K combos.
DVD: Most of our video collection is available on DVD, which replaced VHS and offers 480 lines of video resolution. You'll need a DVD player to watch these. Search using the term "DVD."
Blu-ray: This disc format offers high-definition video (1080 lines of resolution) and improved sound. It requires a Blu-ray player to watch and a HD TV to get the best effect. Players can also play DVDs. Search using the term "Blu-ray."
4K UHD: This upgraded version of Blu-ray offers 4 times the resolution of Blu-ray as well as improved color and contrast. Requires a 4k player, as well as high-speed HDMI cables and a 4k display to fully take advantage of the format. 4k players also play standard Blu-ray and DVD discs. Search using the term "4k Ultra HD."
