Lawson McGhee Library validates for one hour of free parking in the Locust Street Parking Garage.

There are four parallel parking spaces on Church Avenue in front of Lawson McGhee Library; one of these is an accessible space for permitted vehicles. Pay with the ParkMobile Parking App or dial 877-727-5015. 

In line with those spaces is one free 15-minute "Stop-n-Go" parking space requiring flashers.

The City of Knoxville provides the following ADA Information:

"ADA parking is available at designated on-street locations for free with a valid placard or license plate. All ADA parking is limited to the time posted for the on-street parking zone.

Anyone with a valid ADA placard or license plate may also park for free in any standard on-street parking space for the designated time limit.

ADA parking is not allowed in commercial zones unless you have a commercial plate or in no parking zones. Parking is also free in City garages and parking lots for anyone with a valid ADA placard or license plate."
