Answer
Some newspapers have a commercial arrangement for providing keepsake newspaper reprints. Try this link on the knoxnews.com site about reprints.
The library is not a source for buying issues of the newspaper for any date.
As of February 2022, customer support at the Knoxville News Sentinel said: "Copies of the News Sentinel can be purchased at our Front Counter during regular business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Papers are kept for 2 months, while supplies last. Mailed back copies require a prepaid fee via Credit/Debit Card. Payment can be made by calling Gayle Atkins at 865-342-6496."
If you are a resident and you want a computer printout of something from the library's newspaper archives, contact us.
