Answer
Print from anywhere, pick up near you.
Cost: 15¢/page in black & white, 25¢/page in color.
See system status for the wireless print service for potential outage notification.
Use your choice of three methods:
Method 1: Upload via the Web (encrypted)
Submit print jobs powered by ePRINTit. This option will probably work for files saved to storage on your mobile device.
Method 2: Print by email (not encrypted)
If file security is not important, you may send your print jobs by email. Beware of emailing documents containing personal information.
To print by email, send your email to:
You will be sent an email confirmation containing your release code. You will present that code for payment and release of your print job.
Method 3: Upload via mobile app (encrypted)
Download ePRINTit Public Print Locations from:
You can connect the app to cloud services such as Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and others.
For a print provider, search for Knox County Public Library by zip code 37902 and select the library as your provider. (You'll still be able to pick up at any branch.)
Pick up and pay
You can present payment and receive your printouts at Lawson McGhee Library, McClung Collection, or any branch library. Your print job confirmation will show your preliminary total, but the calculated total may be less after the job is processed (pages submitted for color printing but that don't have color will be charged at $.15 instead of $.25).
Emailed print jobs will appear as two or more jobs: the email message body (which will appear as email.html), and any attachment(s). You may choose not to release the email message body.
More details
- Send emails, Web pages, photos or documents for printing, as long as they are not encrypted or password-protected prior to uploading; files will be encrypted in upload methods but not in the email method.
- You don't need to have a library card (but a library card number makes a great ID for your print jobs).
- Submit multiple print jobs, pay all at once.
- All print jobs are deleted after 24 hours.
- Duplex (front and back, or double sided) printing is not supported; every print job will be produced on a single side of each sheet.
